The Karst region (Carso) is a land of rock and wind, where viticulture is both poetry and a challenge. Limestone soils, shallow red earth, and the constant bora wind generate wines that are unique in flavour and intensity. The Karst DOC is home to iconic grape varieties such as Vitovska and Malvasia Istriana, which fully express authenticity and minerality. The reds include in particular the fresh and vibrant Terrano. Here, wine is a cultural identity, an integral part of a wild and fascinating landscape overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
