Paola Gregoric on the harp
Paola Gregoric was born in Trieste in 2000, where she began studying the harp at the age of six. In 2022, she earned her Master's Degree with top marks, cum laude, and honorable mention under the guidance of Professor Patrizia Tassini at the "J. Tomadini" Conservatory of Music in Udine. She is currently attending the postgraduate course with PhD student Irina Zingg at the "Claudio Abbado" Civic School of Music in Milan.
She has collaborated with the "Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia" in Rome, the "Orchestra del Teatro Lirico G. Verdi" in Trieste, the "Orchestra Giovanile Italiana," the "De Sabata" in Trieste, the "FVG Orchestra," the "Accademia d'Archi Arrigoni," the "Naonis," the "San Marco" in Pordenone, the "Amadeus Adriatic Orchestra," and the "Ventaglio d'Arpe."
In 2021, she won the audition as principal harpist at the "OGI" (Italian Youth Orchestra) in Fiesole, and for two consecutive years, she was selected among the finalists at the audition for the "EUYO" (European Union Youth Orchestra).
She has participated in numerous national and international competitions, winning several awards, including about twenty first prizes and first prizes overall.
