Sailing Day – Give sailing a go!

Description

Vela Day, an event organised by the Italian Sailing Federation, offers children and adults alike the chance to discover the joys of sailing. The sailing club opens its doors to the public and provides qualified instructors to give visitors the chance to experience sailing.

Vela Day is scheduled for Saturday 30th May 2026.

Children aged 6 to 14 will be able to go out on dinghies with the help, guidance and support of our instructors and athletes.
Adults and families will be able to enjoy short sailing trips on cabin cruisers.
There is also something for the youngest children, aged 4 to 5, who can breathe in the fresh sea air and discover the structure of a sailing boat on land.

The instructors look forward to seeing you at Via Garibaldi 8 in Muggia, at the Circolo della Vela’s seaside headquarters.
