An icon of Balkan music worldwide, a visionary composer, experimenter, and narrator of peoples, Goran Bregović continues to unite the languages of the world into a single, captivating symphony of wind instruments, percussion, and Bulgarian voices. In confirmation of this, on October 23rd he received the Premio Tenco for Lifetime Achievement, one of the most prestigious and respected awards celebrating his extraordinary contribution to songwriters and his ability to build sonic bridges between cultures, languages, and peoples. Bregović also announces his return to Italy in spring 2026 with his Wedding and Funeral Band, for a new series of dates—produced by IMARTS—in the country's major theaters, showcasing his inexhaustible musical energy. Each of his concerts is a collective ritual, where the musicians' infectious energy merges with the audience's warmth, transforming theaters into a great sonic celebration.
