Darsena Porto Vecchio

The dock of Porto Vecchio is located in the town of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The town is located 18 km from the A4 Venice-Trieste Latisana exit along A23 Tarvisio-Venice and 65 km from the airport of Ronchi dei Legionari. The Porto Vecchio dock is accessible along the canal entrance for about 1 mile from the green light buoy, then turning left onto a channel indicated by two mooring posts and bordered by an artificial reef on the left and on the right by mooring posts.

With a depth of 1.5 to 2.5 m and a sandy bottom on the quay, the Porto Vecchio dock can accommodate as much as 430 boats up to 16 m long. The dock consists of 22 floating docks provided with special "fingers" equipped with columns for the delivery of fresh water and electricity. Access time is non-stop, docking is easy even if entrance is not recommended under strong sirocco winds.

The dock is equipped with a guarded parking for 220 cars, toilets and showers with hot water and offers various services and assistance: launching and hauling, garaging area for the indoor storage of boats up to 8 meters, open storage area, waste collection system and treatment for washing hulls, boat lifting cranes (max. 20 tons), day and night surveillance system.

Around the dock overlooking Porto Vecchio, there are many hotels, restaurants, bars and other public places, while nearby shops, pharmacies and first aid are also available.
