The
Scientific Exhibition "Preone 200 Milions years ago" is an exhibition of paleontological findings coming from the Preone valley. The museum displays, with didactic method, the
geological and biological evolution of the Carnic Pre-Alpine territory.
In the first hall, inside show cases and thanks to the aid of dioramas, different environments have been created that are present on the territory with samples of the most
significant animal species: from the most common mammals and birds to small insects visible only by careful observation.
The second hall, besides the description of the area starting from 200 million years ago, also has important
fossil founds in this area.
You can complete the tour along the
natural trail, near the structure: educational panels will show you not only the geological and paleontological features but also the wildlife and the vegetation of the area.
