The
farming civilation's museum Diogene Penzi of San Vito al Tagliamento presents objects and documents regarding the farming civilization in the province of Pordenone.
The exhibition spreads out over
11 rooms, privileging the production system and the peasant life environment. There are sections dedicated to
childhood objects, means of transport, silkworm breeding, haymaking
, land working (with a rich collection of ploughs), as well as the processing of wood, iron, wheat crops.
The farming civilization's museum has
two separate locations: one in
Maniago, dedicated to artisan working of wood and iron and one in
Cavasso Nuovo, dedicated to trades and emigration.
