San Martino al Tagliamento
The municipality of San Martino al Tagliamento lies among the irrigation ditches "Rupa" and "dei Molini" and has practically joined the close towns of Arzenutto and Postoncicco.
The town of San Martino al Tagliamento, which features many finds from the Roman age, but whose name suggests a Lombard-Carolingian settlement, can boast a fairly important artistic heritage.
The parish church features a Romanesque bell tower surmounted by a cusp and preserves 16th-century paintings by Pordenone and by Pomponio Amalteo. In Arzenutto the church of St. Philip and St. James features a 15th-century wooden Madonna, paintings by Giampietro from San Vito (16th century) and a wooden triptych by Domenico from Tolmezzo.
