Paluzza
Paluzza is a renowned holiday resort, which features cross-country ski runs.
In ancient times upstream of the town there was a defence system called Castrum Muscardum. Today you will only see the Moscarda tower, built around the mid-thirteenth century.
The most important hamlet of the Municipality is Timau that, being the last town before the border with Austria, took on the role of guard of the area; in the medieval age the town was the location of an important annual market that was an opportunity of meeting and exchange for the local people.
The First World War Museum contains documents and objects found on the battlefields of the First World War. In summer guided visits to the fortifications, to the trenches and to the communication trenches on the mountains of the valley are organised.
