Nada Malanima (or more commonly Nada) is undoubtedly the most original and courageous artist on the contemporary Italian music scene.
For years, with her unique and inimitable voice, she has given life to her own musical, theatrical, and literary works.
She began her career at a very young age, establishing herself with an artistic career that ranges from pop to singer-songwriter to rock and experimental music.
Alongside her music, Nada has devoted herself to writing, publishing several books, including Il mio cuore umano (My Human Heart), which was adapted into the film La bambina che non voleva cantare (The Girl Who Didn't Want to Sing), and the recent Come la neve di un giorno. Una visione (Like the Snow of a Day: A Vision).
Among her many hits are Amore Disperato, Guardami negli occhi, and Senza un perché, a song that Paolo Sorrentino included in his TV series The Young Pope and which became an international hit.
Nada is back on stage with her full band, a new show accompanying her new album Nitrito, also produced by John Parish. With the singles “Un giorno da regalare” and “Una notte che arriva,” the work comes five years after her previous album, “La paura va via da sé se i pensieri brillano,” presented in a beautiful concert at the Miela Theater, also for the “Protagoniste” festival, an evening that remains indelibly etched in the memories of those present, a true triumph for this eternal girl.
