Alessio Venier conducts with the winners of the Città di Carvignano International Music Competition
A tribute to the genius of Salzburg featuring some of the most brilliant emerging musicians of the new generation. The Philharmonic Youth Orchestra of the Friuli Venezia Giulia, conducted by Alessio Venier, presents "Mozart," a concert celebrating the encounter between the legacy of the great maestro and today's talent. The evening's protagonists will be the winners of the piano and violin categories of the prestigious Città di Cervignano International Music Competition, organized by the AGM Association – Center for Artistic Studies. Open to young musicians up to the age of 30 of any nationality, the competition represents an important showcase for identifying and promoting talent from around the world.
The program, entirely dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, will see these young soloists perform two masterpieces by the Austrian composer, in a musical dialogue that promises to reveal all the freshness and vitality of Mozart's art through the artistic sensibility of the new generations.
