Presented by Annalisa Sandri
Chiara Canzoneri, chef of “Chincagliera Gastronomica” (Gorizia)
vs.
Amy Lim, Chinese chef of “Mangiare Bere Uomo Donna” (Suzzara, MN).
The festival version inspired by the hugely popular TV format will feature three live challenges, pitting a Friulian chef against an Asian chef in the creation of a recipe inspired by Asia but using local ingredients. Three expert judges will offer their technical opinions, but the winner will be decided by the audience. The events will be hosted by Annalisa Sandri, food blogger at Manca il Sale.
Chiara Canzoneri (“Chincaglieria Gastronomica“, Gorizia)
A native of Caorle and trained hands-on in Venetian kitchens since the age of 14, she works in Gorizia, offering exclusive personal chef services by appointment, tailored catering, and historic hospitality at “Chincaglieria Gastronomica.” Her philosophy, “In my kitchen, you’ll always find me,” intertwines a profound vocation for seafood with cross-border territorial influences in an ecosystem also aimed at local urban redevelopment.
Amy Lim (“Mangiare Bere Uomo Donna”, Suzzara – MN)
A native of Hong Kong who trained at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, she runs a renowned restaurant and B&B characterized by a focus on applied arts. Praised for its authenticity by the Michelin Guide, her culinary offering creates a refined syncretism between decidedly Asian options and recipes from the Padania region, using strictly local and seasonal ingredients.
