In this context, the Kolovrat Open-Air Museum is interesting as it is excellently preserved and maintained. This cross-border museum, which extends largely in Slovenian territory, shows the front line which, besides following the mountain ridge, opens into a breathtaking panorama allowing the hiker, on clear days, to embrace it with a gaze from Mount Canin/Kanin to Trieste/Trst.
