Within the lagoon landscape you can find the characteristic
fishing valleys, areas between water and land. The valleys are a particular natural phenomena of this geographical area: the
alternation of the tides and the wealth of nutrients of the lagoon together with the mixing of marine waters with the sweet ones of the springs of the Bassa Friulana area.
In this area you can find
fish breeding and winemaking too, with an important niche for production of wines, highly appreciated for characteristics that only this particular environment can offer.
Furthermore, in the fishing valleys you can
practice sportfishing, enjoy tastings of local products, stay in sustainable accommodation facilities, approach to horse riding or take part in workshops organized to discover the area.
