“Barbacan Produce” is back on 9 June in Trieste

Bags, gift items, clothing, books, costume jewellery and many original and creative ideas. On Sunday 9 June, “Barbacan Produce”, an event that takes place five times a year, returns to Trieste. It is organised to give visibility to emerging artists, craftsmen and designers.
The location is Piazza Barbacan and the neighbouring area, which is just a short walk away from Piazza Cavana or Piazza Unità d’Italia.

This time, a total of 75 exhibitors will be involved, including two associations “Trieste Senza Sprechi” and "Banfield", whereas under the Arch of Riccardo, the morning will be accompanied by the music of Drum Circle, a rhythmic initiative open to everyone. At 6 pm, a reading will take place to present Bloomsday. Many bars in the area will offer various types of entertainment and the event will also be host to the BoraMata pinwheels.

Barbacan Produce, co-organised with the Municipality of Trieste, will be held from 10.30am to 6.30pm. All information can be browsed on the official Facebook page or on the website www.barbacanproduce.com.

The schedule of events continues throughout the year. We recommend the evening edition on 21 July, the 12 October edition and the Christmas version on 15 December.
