Bicycle touring route through the Friulian countryside above the Resurgence line, rich in rural architecture, connecting Codroipo to Middle Friuli.
Itinerary:
Departing from Codroipo we pedal to San Lorenzo and Coderno, where we find the birthplace of Father David Maria Turoldo, "restless conscience of the Church": poet, essayist, prophetic figure in the ecclesial and civil spheres, resistant supporter of the instances of cultural and religious renewal, inspired by the Council, he was one of the most representative exponents of change in modern Catholicism. His is also a house of stones! Among stone houses and country roads we finally return to Codroipo.
Food & wine:
Latterie Turnarie are a mode of milk management suitable for small-scale dairy production in which members use the milk from their cows and take turns processing it. The cheese they produce is called Latteria cheese, made from raw milk and obtained without the use of industrial ferments.
