The loop begins in Lignano Sabbiadoro, a renowned seaside resort that is located near the mouth of the Tagliamento River. Going up the course of the Tagliamento River, you pedal in the direction of Latisana, a small town with a Venetian atmosphere. In Precenicco, following the course of the Stella River almost to its mouth, we return to Lignano following the bends of the river and some stretches of the lagoon.
The route includes crossing the bridge over the Venetian coastline in the Bevazzana locality open to bicycles at certain times present in the DETAILS section. Partially impassable route on the bike path until the end of June 2026.

The route takes you through an area dotted with numerous wineries where you can stop to discover the DOC wines of Latisana. The Gorgo di Latisana area is also an ideal place for the cultivation of White Asparagus, one of Friuli Venezia Giulia's excellences, whose presence in the region has been documented since the time of Austrian Hungary.
