The loop itinerary begins in the heart of the village of Raveo in a fairy-tale landscape in the direction of the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Monte Castellano, which can be seen by leaving the path and taking the paved road. Resuming the route, after some challenging hairpin bends, you reach the locality of Pani with breathtaking views that amply repay the efforts made during the ascent. From here the route is downhill and you pass by the monumental beech tree before returning to the square of Raveo.
During the ride, which is very challenging at times both uphill and downhill, you can stop to admire an enchanting corner of Carnia.The small stone villages and barns that dot the plateau tell stories of work and dedication, witnesses to a farming culture that has not lost its value despite the passage of time.

The route is not accessible by public transportation.
Take the A4 to Palmanova and then the A23. Carnia freeway exit. Take the SS52 to Villa Santina and from there continue to Raveo on SP 35.
Free parking at the entrance to the village at the multipurpose sports fields
Helmets and a water supply are recommended, especially in the warmer months.
