The loop starts in Lignano Sabbiadoro. In the summer months, you can load your bike on the boat and reach Marano Lagunare and admire the many birds that live in the lagoon. The ancient fishing village is dominated by the Torre Millenaria. Of interest is the Archaeological Museum of the Lagoon and the Valle Canal Novo Nature Reserve. From here you start pedaling into the Lower Friulian Plain, among plenizial forests immersed in one of the most valuable naturalistic areas in all of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Along the way you will encounter the village of Precenicco crossed by the Stella River, the most important resurgence watercourse in the region. This river along with the Marano Lagoon are companions during the return to Lignano Sabbiadoro. On the way, one crosses a variety of farmlands often cultivated with vines. Once past Precenicco, you pedal along the bank of the Sella River until you return to Lignano Sabbiadoro.
