FVG4 Plain Cycle Route from Codroipo to Cividale del Friuli (C402)

This itinerary covers the Codroipo–Cividale del Friuli section of the FVG4 plain bike path, which crosses the region from west to east along the broad Friulian plain. It is, therefore, a bike path that traces the history of Friuli through the centuries. The route begins in Codroipo , where you can admire the Risorgive Nature Park and Villa Manin with its grounds. You’ll pass through rural villages with stone houses and votive shrines that bear witness to folk art and architecture. Traces of the protohistoric . Udine is the most important city along the route, with its historical and artistic attractions and the Cormor and Torre parks; the route passes partly through the latter before continuing toward Remanzacco and Moimacco, rural villages featuring beautiful 17th-century Friulian villas. Cividale del Friuli is the endpoint of this bike route. The Lombard town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the heart of the Colli Orientali DOC wine-growing region.
