This route is ideal for families with children aged 10 and over. Get on your bike and pedal from Maniago to Travesio accompanied by the colourful wings of paragliders.
Maniago is the starting point for this route through the countryside of the Pordenone foothills. After leaving behind the city of craftsmen who have been forging swords and knives for millennia, we pass Fratta, Fanna and Cavasso Nuovo, until crossing the Meduna river via the Maraldi bridge. Once in Meduno, the backdrop that accompanies the excursion could make you gasp: the locality is in fact much loved by paragliders who colour the sky with their multicoloured wings and accompany the cyclists' pedalling.
We continue towards Sottomonte until we reach Toppo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, where its castle stands. The finishing point of this trip, ideal for those who want to discover the ancient villages of the area, is Travesio.
To return to Maniago, follow the same route.
