The route mainly follows the city bike paths and offers a pleasant experience for cyclists of all levels.
The route starts in front of the Pordenone railway station, at the entrance of Parco Valdevit Querini, and ends at the same point after a wide loop through the city's green areas. The itinerary crosses or skirts ten city parks, each with unique features and points of interest. It starts from Parco Valdevit Querini, with early 20th-century buildings, and continues towards Parco Fluviale del Noncello, with the Adamo and Eva bridge. Then it reaches Parco Galvani, with Villa Galvani and the Comic Museum, and Parco del Seminario, a natural river environment. Following are Parco del Castello di Torre, with prehistoric sites and the Archaeological Museum, Parco di San Valentino, known for resurgence ponds, and Parco Iride, a symbol of friendship between Pordenone and Vicenza. Finally, it passes through Parco Cimolai, Laghetti di Rorai, and Lago della Burida, immersed in nature.
Short stretches inside the parks are unpaved but easily accessible even for those using a city bike.
