This route is perfect for cycling with the family: you ride safely between vegetable gardens and gardens, accompanied by the pleasant view of the mountains
Artisans forging blades, ancient apples and red onions seem to be the ingredients for a perfect medieval fairytale. Children riding their bikes safely reach Cavasso Nuovo, across bridges, streams and through beautiful forests.
The route starts in Maniago, a historical centre famous for over a thousand years for the production of blades and knives on the foothills of the Pordenone foothills. After an initial stretch of ups and downs, it is possible to leave Maniago behind and enter Fanna, a small municipality also known as the Land of Old Apples. With the Friulian Dolomites as a backdrop, you soon reach your destination: Cavasso Nuovo. You return to the starting point along the same route with the Bicibus in the summer months.
