The route develops on the strip of land between the village of Marano Lagunare and the spring area of Codroipo. From San Giorgio di Nogaro, an industrial port of the Upper Adriatic, you pedal towards Carlino, where the lowland woods serve as a prelude to the nearby Marano lagoon. Continuing towards Muzzana, it is worth visiting the Church of the Martyrs Gervasius and Protasius before entering the Friulian countryside. After passing Rivarotta and Pocenia, a stop is recommended in the equipped area next to the church in the small village of Chiarmacis.
