Art Park "Marzona" of
Verzegnis is an
open air museum of contemporary art, where the sculptures of different dimensions integrate with the surrounding landscape.
Next to the houses, on the big lawn and on the hill, it hosts the works of international artists, representing the various trends of contemporary art from Minimalism to Land Art, from Conceptual Art to Poor Art.
These artists, who
refuse the isolation of art in museums and who prefer to interact with nature and landscapes, have made their works according to their collocation, with particular attention to the surroundings.
The park is open and can be visited freely. It is possible to have for free a guided tour brochure at the Restaurant "Antica Osteria Stella d'Oro" (closed on Mondays) close to the park: Via Tolmezzo, 6. Tel. +39 0433 2699.
