Route suitable for moderately trained walkers between the valley of the Orvenco stream and the wooded ridges of Monte Faeit.
There are also waterfalls and pools of a thousand colors.
Pleasant hike in the foothill belt of the Julian Prealps.
The route, which if taken fully forms a loop, leads to a picturesque part of the course of the Orvenco stream, where waters plunge into numerous waterfalls of both natural and artificial origin, creating scenic spots from which to admire reflections and the surrounding nature.
The first part climbs the left bank woods and clearings with brief steeper sections equipped with steps. This is followed by a flat stretch where the riverbed widens. Upon reaching the iron bridge, turn right towards Monte Faeit but it is worth making a short detour to the pool "Bastart," a very scenic spot. After leaving the bridge, the trail climbs the northern ridges of Faeit up to the 700-meter saddle, between Mt. Campeon and Mt. Faeit
The route, always marked by dedicated signs, proceeds downhill along unpaved and paved roads to the starting point.
On the hottest summer days it is possible to bathe in some pools, bring a swimsuit just in case!

There are no refreshment points or potable water sources along the route, so carry an adequate water supply accordingly.
At the top of Mt. Campeon, the remains of artillery positions planned during the First World War can be visited.
The route is fully marked with dedicated signs. The loop starts along the well-trodden path behind the ancient washhouse, skirting along the waters of the Orvenco. After ascending the small valley, attention must be paid at the small metal bridge, continuing to the right uphill.
At the top of the ridge, after crossing an unpaved road, continue long on the right, downhill. Also, at the next junction of the paved road, keep right returning to the starting point.
