The itinerary makes it possible to reach from the village of Montemaggiore di Taipana theancient Roman bridge in the woods of Montemaggiore/Brezje, a hamlet of Taipana, which is once again passable in total safety. The ancient structure characterizes the area in a context of particular naturalistic value: it is made of stone and located downstream from the village of Montemaggiore, towards the sources of the Rio Bianco. It represents a piece of the mule track that connects the village to the locality of Sdregnobardo/Srenjo Bardo, where the people of Montemaggiore once took their livestock to the pastures in summer.

The trail also intercepts the Celestial Path, which also passes through this part of Friulian Slavia.

The mule track descends to the ford of the Rio Lemagna and the ford of the Rio Bianco, climbs to the hamlet of Tanacertegna (ruins), and descends along the forest road to the third ford of the Rio Bianco. Continuing, you reach the confluence of Rio Bianco and Rio Nero, which gives rise to the Natisone River.

The forest road continues through a deciduous forest reaching Ponte Vittorio Emanuele, Casali Gasperini (ruins), to the village of Prossenicco.
