Exhibition: "Francesco Dolfo – Fuoriserie"

Among the events marking the start of the programme for Pordenone, Italian Capital of Culture 2027, the Civic Art Museum at Palazzo Ricchieri presents *Fuoriserie*, the first solo museum exhibition by Francesco Dolfo, an Italian photographer internationally recognised for his poetic and deeply evocative vision. Throughout his career, Dolfo has gained access to extraordinary places rarely open to the public: private residences, historic mansions, studios, creative spaces and exceptional architectural settings. Through his lens, these environments are transformed into visual narratives in which light, details and traces of human presence become tools for evoking emotions, memories and impressions. The title *Fuoriserie* stems from a desire to affirm the value of what is unique, portraying interiors as spaces capable of defying all standardisation and homogenisation. The photographs do not merely document interiors: they capture their character, personality and ability to tell a story. 
The exhibition is hosted in the rooms of Palazzo Ricchieri, one of the oldest and most significant buildings in Pordenone. Originally a medieval tower house, it was transformed over the centuries into a noble residence and has housed the city’s Civic Art Museum since 1970. The exhibition has been curated by Marco Minuz, a professional active in the development of cultural initiatives in both the public and private sectors and founder of Suazes, a company specialising in the design and production of exhibitions and cultural events.
