The
Central European Railway Modellers Club (FERCLUB), active since 1988, carries out in
Trieste many initiatives in the field of
railway modelling for all ages. It realizes a successful meeting among professionals of the historical, artistic, handicraft, engineering, electronic and computing fields and of other fields.
It will be possible to admire
charming high-technology plastic models, such as the large "Senza Frontiere" (Borderless) plastic model with moving trains and motor vehicles and the HO-scale trials circuit; two HO-scale Märklin plastic models (analogue and digital); a N-scale plastic model; a large HOe-scale diorama "Rhaetian Railways" of Switzerland; an HO-scale harbour plastic model; the
garden railway and the large-scale
Opicina Tramway; a driving simulator; video showing and special effects.
Moreover, the FERCLUB provides the possibility to visit the Library, the video library and the newspaper library on railways and railway modelling. Finally,
courses on railway modelling are also organized.
