Permanent Exhibition Forests, Man, Economy in Friuli Venezia Giulia

Mostra Permanente Foreste Uomo Economia del FVG - Venzone

The Permanent Exhibition "Forests, Man, Economy in Friuli Venezia Giulia", presented in Udine by Friuli's Museum of Natural History in 1986-87, has now been enlarged and set up in the Museo della Terra di Venzone (Museum of the Land of Venzone - Palazzo Orgnani Martina).

The Permanent Exhibition "Forests, Man, Economy in Friuli Venezia Giulia" of Venzone is an educational exhibition dedicated to one of the most complex ecosystems: the forest.

This exhibition, divided into three rooms, by means of plastic models and dioramas, analyses and explains the history of forests and the forest ecosystems, the fauna that lives in them and the functions and uses of trees.

Moreover, it will be possible to admire a mycological exhibition of over three hundred specimens of fungi, a showcase dedicated to the forest in fantasy, which represents the forest characters of classical, traditional and modern mythology, and a showcase with questions and quizzes about the peculiarities and characteristics of woods and forests.
