The first document in which Travesio is mentioned dates back to 1174. The name probably derives from the Latin term "intra vias", a clear reference to the Roman road, located in several points, which came from Sacile and crossed the Tagliamento at Ragogna, reaching Gemona.

Exhibition Balthazar - Primary School Montereale Valcellina

The exhibition is housed within the Primary School of Montereale Valcellina and dates back to the '30s.

Balthazar is an interactive scientific exhibition, which offers experiments and games using lights and shadows, dark rooms, electricity, flight and sound created by children.

The exhibition offers also a multimedia room with a reproduction of the "Magredo" environment, with autochthonous flowers and wild animals.

The Exhibition Balthazar is part of the "Lis Aganis" Friulian Dolomites' Regional Ecomuseum.
