Didactic Centre of Barcis

The didactic centre of Barcis has an exhibition hall and a laboratory classroom equipped with computers, microscopes and small didactic collections to carry out indepth studies on the different aspects of environmental education.

The exhibitions that are present at the didactic centre are: Ecologic imprint, sustainable development, Agenda 21, principle and modalities of life and work for a correct use of resources. Reuse, recycle, save, a small exhibition on waste and differentiated waste collection.

The didactic Centre of Barcis offers guided visits and animation on the territory, thanks to the nature and historical cultural itineraries.

The Centre is part of the Regional Ecomuseum of Friulian Dolomites "Lis Aganis".

Opening times from September to June: from Monday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. (afternoon and feast days only with reservation)
July and August: from Monday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Compulsory reservation for guided tours during the exhibitions and for teaching laboratories.
