Villa Santina
Villa Santina is one of the "portals" for accessing the Intermunicipal Park of the Carnic Hills. Its territory is situated on a wide plain, at the confluence of the Degano stream into the Tagliamento river.
In the town you will find the "Carnica Arte Tessile" weaving factory, the greatest heir to Carnia's textile traditions and the faithful follower of the models designed by entrepreneur Linussio, who in the 18th century transformed Carnia into one of the biggest textile production centres in Europe.
It is the ideal starting point for many hikes, bicycle rides or horse rides.
The Forra del Vinadia - a 200-metre gorge - is perfect for canyoning.
