San Floriano del Collio
Called the land of grapes and cherries, thanks to its position on the hills, in the latest years San Floriano del Collio has become famous for its wines.
Founded in the Middle Ages, the town was surrounded by walls, to which two castles were added. Destroyed during the First World War, the castle of San Floriano was re-built as a residential complex and today houses the "Museum of wine and of rural life".
The presence in the territory of a great number of farms that produce and export their wines all over the world, make this town the favourite destination of enthusiasts and gourmets.
