Mariano del Friuli

Mariano del Friuli is a small town, well-known for the production of its famous wines, and for being the first chair's industry of Friuli in the 18th century.

Mariano was also interested by the pitiless invasions of Turks and by the endless wars and raids of Venetians, Austrians and Frenchs.

Maybe its origins are contemporary to those of Aquileia and its name derives from a Roman soldiers, sent by Rome to found a colony in Venice
