The Cave of the Command of the 8th Italian Division is located about 10 minutes from the stone marking the summit of Mt. Sabotin. Following the ridge trail, you will reach the border marking stone "54/13C", then make sure to take a track on the right, as it is not properly signalled, in Italian territory (be particularly careful in case the grass has not been cut).
After 50 metres, you can see the remains of a trench leading to the tunnel entrance. This tunnel is quite long and leads to an observation post (on the right), where the tiled floor is still visible. On the left side of the tunnel there is a second passageway, which cannot be visited as the vault collapsed.
