Cabin Museum

The cabin is an ideal point to start or end a visit to the Sabotin Park; here, you can also enjoy cold or hot meals. The building includes a room, cured by the park custodian, where visitors can admire several war paraphernalia found in the area over the years.

Bomb fragments, bullets and personal belongings of the soldiers can be observed here. Equally interesting are the materials and objects donated by visitors of the Peace Park of Mt. Sabotin, such as family pictures or memorabilia.
The small cabin / museum contains also some models of the area donated by the Military Geographic Institute as well as books dedicated to the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo and the history of the brigades that fought here in 1915 and 1916. Equally educational are the historical maps that can be consulted here along with a list of all inscriptions on the memorial stones of the Sacred Area.
