The festival season concludes with the 54th World Folklore Festival “Castello di Gorizia”, taking place from 26 to 30 August. Recognized as a CIOFF® International Festival, it was also awarded the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic on the occasion of its 50th edition.
Under the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the festival welcomes researchers, folk groups and musicians from Austria, Croatia, Scotland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Hungary, the United States and Italy.
