Wine Nights – Municipality of Sgonico

From 21st June to 4th September 2026, the “Le Notti del Vino” event will take place in Friuli Venezia Giulia, featuring 40 events during which local wineries will offer their wines paired with culinary specialities and accompanied by events such as music, theatre, literary readings and guided tours of cultural and natural heritage sites.

On Tuesday 18th August (in the event of bad weather on 19th August) at 7.30 pm, the Città del Vino di Sgonico is hosting "Le Notti del Vino" in Damjan Milič’s olive grove, situated next to the Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo in Sgonico.

The evening will feature farms operating within the municipality of Sgonico. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the unique characteristics and secrets of local Malvasia wines production directly from the producers, thereby enriching their experience.
Furthermore, in the picturesque olive grove, visitors will be able to sample cured meats from local farms and let themselves be carried away by the sounds of live music. The event offers a unique opportunity to discover the finest local Malvasia wines whilst enjoying fine food and music in a pleasant setting.
