The statue of Maximilian: exhibition

Description

The local association Società Cormonese Austria is dedicating an exhibition to the history of the statue of Maximilian to describe its more than one hundred years of life: the decision to erect it, its financiers, its inauguration in 1903, its removal and abandonment behind the hospital, the attempted scrapping and sale to the province, its return to Cormons and its further relocation.

The exhibition will be open to the public until January, 6th 2026.

Opening hours:

from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Closed on December, 25th and December, 31st
