The magic of Christmas: San Nicolò fair

Traditional San Nicolò Fair with lots of stalls selling sweets and local productsYou can do your first Christmas shopping, buy sweets to put in your San Nicolò bag (coal or caramelised almonds?!) and stroll along the tree-lined avenue, browsing the exhibitors' stalls.The Fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from 29 November to 7 December. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, 29 November at 5:00 p.m. with the presence of a local band and San Nicolò, who will be present again for the Feast of San Nicolò on 6 December at 4:00 p.m.

Entertainment for children will be provided every day from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.The entertainment service includes the presence of St. Nicholas with a white beard, dressed in traditional clothing, and a multi-talented entertainer who can manage various recreational and entertainment activities (writing letters to the Saint on the spot, drawing workshops to be displayed on the windows, distribution of sweets, small gadgets and coloured balloons, etc.), a face painter, present together with the entertainer in the “Casetta di San Nicolò” (St. Nicholas' House) on the final days of 6 and 7 December. The Casetta will be located in Largo Bonifacio and will host additional entertainment activities.
