Sportivissima - Pole vault in the square

Sportivissima - Pole vault in the square is a unique event. It was created with the aim of bringing a mobile pole vault facility to Piazza XX Settembre to host a competitive competition of national and international standing. For this reason, the San Martino Atletica and Atletica 2000 associations have included the competition in the World Athletics calendar. The idea is to bring one of the most spectacular disciplines in athletics out of its traditional venue, transforming Piazza XX Settembre into an athletics stadium.

Program:
In the morning, from 9:00 to 12:00, the focus is on schools with Just Run, running activities and a 30-meter sprint test.
In the afternoon, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Just Jump takes over, where younger children can try the basics of pole vaulting under the guidance of specialized coaches.
The platform opens at 1:30 PM with Race 1 (2:30 PM) and Race 2 (5:30 PM), reserved for athletes with progressively higher heights and organized without gender distinction, based on merit.
The day culminates with the Top Race, with the platform opening at 7:30 PM and the competition starting at 8:30 PM, featuring the best international athletes. Free admission.
The event will feature top athletes from Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, and various other European countries. Among the names already confirmed in the women's race: Letizia Paolatto, Italian Under-20 indoor champion; Andrea Morgana Fogato, Italian Under-20 outdoor champion and participant in the Under-20 European Championships; Vita Benedič, Slovenian overall and Under-23 champion; and Felice Miloro, an athlete from Loughborough University—the same university as Sebastian Coe and Paula Radcliffe. Among the men, Croatian national champion Geronimo Serić is expected.
