Playlist without borders

Description

A narrative project that fosters a dialogue between major international artists and key figures of Italian music—such as Vasco Rossi, Mina, Lucio Dalla, Gianni Morandi, Modugno, Zucchero, Negramaro, Max Gazzè, Lucio Battisti, and many others. For this project, the Theory Big Band has curated a playlist featuring songs that evoke not only personal feelings but also social values, ideologies, and collective tensions. The playlist thus becomes a space where the private and the public intertwine, and where music gives voice to both deep-seated emotions and shared opinions, frustrations, and hopes—a sanctuary where one can find a sense of self and feel less alone.
