Operetta in swing

Description

Trieste is also known as the ‘Italian Capital of Operetta’ for its musical history, but it is also one of the Italian cities that has had one of the closest relationships with jazz thanks to its direct contact in recent history with American musicians stationed in the city. Operetta is part of the cultural heritage that Italian immigrants brought to the United States and contributed significantly to forging the name of Jazz. This concert aims to combine the two traditions and highlights the similarities between the two types of music, which ultimately merge into a joyful amalgam.
