In Prepotto, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, Spolert opens its doors and offers two different ways to experience the same hillside.
Aperitivo in the panoramic garden
Our garden overlooks the vineyards directly: take a seat, order a glass of wine and a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, and simply let the afternoon unfold. No rush, no set itinerary — just time to watch the vineyards as the light changes over the hills.
Guided wine tasting
For those who want to discover more, the tasting takes you through the winery’s wines: the white wines of the Colli Orientali and Schioppettino di Prepotto, the native red grape variety born right here and brought back to life on these hills. The wines are presented by the people who make them, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Whether you choose to stop for half an hour or spend the whole afternoon, the invitation is the same: come up here, sit down, and taste the landscape.

Aquila del Torre – Povoletto (UD)
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October
Theme: the cultured Refosco wine
Programme: Wine trek starting from the winery, winding through the panoramic rows of Aquila del Torre and across the Refosco vineyards, situated in the heart of the amphitheatre. Amidst the organic vineyards, every step tells a story of the distant past: millions of years ago, these hills were the seabed, and traces of ancient coral reefs can still be seen today. The tour will then continue with a visit to the winery and conclude with a tasting of two glasses of our two versions of the eponymous grape variety: Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Riserva. The wines will be paired with a selection of food to enhance their aromas and flavours.
Footwear suitable for a gentle walk is recommended. Dogs are welcome.

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October
A walk through the vineyards accompanied by some of the estate’s friendly animals. The animals present will be decided on the day and may include goats, sheep, donkeys, and others. The experience will be followed by a tasting of three wines served with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses.
Meeting time: 11:00 AM on 24 October.

Theme: The Picolit Boulevard
Programme: A wine trekking experience starting from the winery and winding through the panoramic rows of Aquila del Torre vineyards, reaching the oldest Picolit vineyard. Among the organic vineyards, every step tells the story of a distant past: millions of years ago these hills lay beneath the sea, and traces of ancient coral reefs can still be found today.
The tour continues with a visit to the winery and concludes with a tasting of two glasses representing our two expressions of the same grape variety: Picolit DOCG and Oasi Bianco.
The wines will be paired with selected food tastings to enhance their aromas and flavours.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Dogs are welcome.

Theme: Geo & Wine Experience – From Rock to Wine
Programme: A unique geo-sensory excursion through the Aquila del Torre vineyards, guided by Deborah Spinola (Geologist and Sommelier). Together we will embark on an immersive journey through deep time, exploring the unbreakable connection between land, vine and wine glass.
What to expect:
Understanding the land is the most authentic way to appreciate the character of the wines it produces.
Come and listen to what the soil has to tell!
In case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.
Suitable outdoor clothing is recommended.

By reservation. Visit the rooms of the 18th-century villa and its centuries-old park, followed by a tasting of four wines accompanied by high-quality local specialties.
