Among the highlights of the Music Season is, without question, the return of Maestro Daniele Gatti, who appears at our Theatre for the second stage of the Orchestra Mozart's residency project. One of the world's most distinguished and sought-after conductors, now serving as Music Director of such legendary institutions as the Staatskapelle Dresden, Gatti is internationally acclaimed for his exceptional interpretative rigour and unparalleled analytical insight, qualities that continually reveal new expressive dimensions within the great symphonic repertoire.
The programme offers an extraordinary cultural thread linking all four composers—Weber, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Brahms—each of whom is deeply connected with the Saxon musical tradition, providing a compelling overview of the rich musical heritage of that region. The event will also be complemented by a series of related activities, including an open rehearsal dedicated exclusively to students from conservatories and universities.
