MDR – mort de riure / morto dal ridere - Terminal Festival 2026

MDR is a farce that shocks and entertains. Melon, Mardi, and Rossinyol find themselves facing an unexpected conflict. Their wild, clumsy nature and the need to exist lead them into an unlikely spectacle, where they freely explore all sorts of atrocities. This hilarious and terrifying experience tells the story of a sincere and raw friendship, born out of a sense of responsibility and guilt. An unlikely crime, a suspicious trial, and an absurd punishment.
Paradoxically, they might make you want to die laughing.

Los Galindos was founded in 1991. The project was born from the synergy between constant research and youthful energy in collective creation. Inspired by the poetry and fantastic imagery of circus, the company has developed a distinctive artistic vision. Over the years, it has engaged in educational and outreach projects, taking its work internationally with 15 shows. The company has received several awards, including the 2016 National Culture Award for Lifetime Achievement. For the show, MDR has received numerous awards: the 2023 Talía Award for Best Circus Show, the 2022 Ciutat de Barcelona Award for the Performing Arts, the 2022 Teatre Barcelona Award for Best Circus Show, the 2021 Critics' Award for Best Circus Show, the 2021 Zirkolika Special Jury Award, and the 2021 Audience Award at the TAC Valladolid. With MDR, Los Galindos returns to the street format with a bold and committed circus show.

Anicet Leone. Clown and acrobat. Adventurer of art and flight. Trained in fine arts and
at the Le Lidó Circus School in Toulouse. He has collaborated on various projects and companies, including Crida, Los Galindos, and others. Currently, his involvement with the Flying Frenchies is an expression of his artistic and creative research.

Gabriel Agosti. Juggler and clown trained at the Rimini Circus School and at the
Lidó in Toulouse. Circus and film actor. Collaborator with the Crida company. Marcel Escolano. Clown and comedian, co-founder of the Los Galindos company. Director of this project and stage actor.

Bet Garrell. Acrobat and circus artist. Co-founder of the Los Galindos company. Director of this project and artistic accompanist.

Joël Fesel. Entered the performing arts twenty-four years ago,
coming from the visual arts. Co-founder of Groupe Merci in Toulouse, France. He helps us with writing and scenographic design of the stage space.

Stephane Filloc. Urban comedian since the 1990s. He is a leading figure in France with his project Carnage Productions. He has participated in projects such as
Freres Grumeaux, GIGN, and a long list of others. He will help us with the staging and
directing of the actors.

Jhonny Torres. Acrobat and circus actor. A scholar and lover of the arts of risk and uncertainty.
Co-founder of Los Galindos, Circo de la Sombra, and Circ Teatre
Modern, among others.
