Today, thanks to the numerous works left to posterity, it is not difficult to define Marzio Carletti's artistic career, from his early attempts as a young man to overcome his lack of academic training to his pursuit of self-taught training.
The exhibition features a series of unpublished drawings in sepia ink on paper by Marzio Carletti to illustrate the “Fioretti di San Francesco”, alongside which are several works created using various techniques, often mixed media as Marzio was accustomed to doing, depicting family members, characters from his world and atmospheres inspired by those years.
