For Nate Smith, rhythm is much more than a musical structure: it is a language capable of telling the story of the present. A two-time Grammy Award winner, drummer, composer, and producer, he has redefined the role of his instrument, effortlessly moving across jazz, funk, R&B, and hip hop, becoming one of the most influential musicians of his generation.
He has built a strong career as a bandleader with the Kinfolk project and, more recently, with Live Action, an album that celebrates the power of music played together, without artifice or unnecessary embellishments.
On stage, Nate Smith transforms every concert into a collective experience, where rhythmic precision, improvisational freedom, and communicative energy come together in a remarkable balance.
