Description
The exhibition opens on January 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM. During the opening, there will be a live performance by artist PierPaolo Koss, with music by Alexey Grankowsky, entitled "Unbound." The exhibition is part of the project "Chronocroma. Memories, conflicts, and ecologies in contemporary art" and is eligible for the Manifestazioni Esposizioni 2025 call for proposals, promoted by Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Our lives move on a plane delimited by barriers, by boundaries within which we pretend to feel safe. We live in cities with no access to the horizon and its infinite calling. It seems our destiny can only be nourished by the inevitability of the nourishment necessary to strengthen our ego. We believe the only possible dimension is that of a regulated order to which we must simply submit, and within which the only possible path is that of self-affirmation. But a persistent, repeated gaze toward the horizon can help us perceive other planes upon which to orient our research and our journey toward acceptance of the constant transformation of everything. The idea behind the project was precisely to activate that persistent gaze toward the horizon and transform it into a narrative. A journey from which the idea of a destination is removed; a sort of Odyssey without Ithaca, even passing through its smoking carcasses; a complete surrender to the absence of limits, crossing no-man's lands devoid of identity, like a new invisible frontier without any biography, eliminating all those consolatory structures you find in your daily life.
Opening times: from Thursday to Sunday 10 am - 6 pm.
